Where are you located?

In this season, we are meeting in a home within Davenport, FL in the Providence Community. We are praying and believing for a future building where we can continue to grow, but right now we are grateful for how God is leading and guiding our steps.

What is a typical service like?

A typical Sunday is relaxed and intentional. We begin at 10:00am with connection time, where you can enjoy bagels, fruit, muffins, coffee, and tea while getting to know others.

At 10:30am, we move into worship with about 3 to 4 songs, followed by a time of practicing TSA, which stands for Thanksgiving, Surrender, and Acknowledge. This is a powerful way we connect with God personally.

After worship, we share a life-giving Biblical message, usually about 30 minutes. Our gathering typically wraps up around 12:30pm, but we always make space afterward to pray and minister to anyone who needs it.

Overall, it is a comfortable, authentic environment where you can come as you are, grow in your relationship with Jesus, and build real community.

Do you have a children's ministry?

Right now, our children stay in the main gathering with their families on Sunday. We believe there is something powerful about kids experiencing worship, prayer, and the presence of God alongside their parents.

We provide coloring pages and fidget toys to help keep them engaged during service, and we aim to create an environment where families feel comfortable and welcomed.

On Wednesday's during Activation Nights we offer RUAH NextGen for grades K-6. Learn more about our heart for the next (now) generation:

Do you have small groups?

Yes, we do. Our small groups are called Activation Nights, and they take place every Wednesday.

Activation Nights are where discipleship becomes real. These are not just studies you sit through. They are interactive, Spirit led environments where you learn how to actually walk with Jesus in your everyday life.
Each Wednesday night, we gather to grow deeper together through teaching, discussion, prayer, and hands on activation. It is a space to ask questions, build relationships, and practice what you are learning in a safe and encouraging community.
If Sundays feel like the gathering, Wednesdays
are where you get to go deeper. This is where real growth, healing, and transformation happen as we walk it out together. Learn more about our Discipleship Track.

Activation Nights

Wednesdays | 7-9pm

Throughout the year, we walk through all 8 courses of our Discipleship Track we call the Rise Up Activation Highway. You can jump in at any time and join the course we are currently on.
Walking with Jesus is one of the core courses on our Discipleship Track, that we call the Rise Up Activation Highway. This course is all about helping you move from knowing about Jesus to actually walking with Him daily.

During Activation Nights, you will learn how to:
Hear God’s voice and recognize how He speaks:
Spend time with Jesus in a personal, real way
Read the Bible with understanding and revelation
Be led by the Holy Spirit in your everyday life
Grow in confidence in your relationship with God

This is not about religion or routine. It’s about building a real, personal relationship with Jesus that transforms how you live.

Our Vision

At Rise Up Culture Church, our vision is not to fit people into a box. Our heart is to help people embrace Christ in His fullness and become who God created them to be. We believe Jesus expresses His heart through His people in many different ways. Scripture describes this through the fivefold ministry: the apostolic, prophetic, evangelistic, shepherd, and teaching expressions of Christ at work within His body.

 Apostolic
Some carry a pioneering, trailblazing heart.
 Prophetic
Some hear and sense things deeply in the Spirit.
 Evangelistic
Some are bold in sharing the Gospel.
 Shepherd
Some care for and protect people tenderly.
 Teacher
Some bring clarity and grounding through truth.

Each reflects a part of who Jesus is.

Because of this, we value learning to recognize and honor the different ways Christ lives and leads through His people. Growth often means learning to value other’s, listen, discern, and trust the Holy Spirit, even when His leading stretches beyond what feels comfortable or logical.

We are a simple church, focused on healing and equipping. But within that simplicity, we want to create space for the unique way God has designed each person.

We believe:
No one is meant to look the same
No one carries the whole picture alone
Each person reflects part of Christ’s heart

As we grow together, we learn to value the strength, perspective, and gifting in one another. In doing so, we experience more of the fullness of Jesus than any one of us could carry by ourselves.

Our role is not to shape people into our vision.
Our role is to help people be formed by Christ and led by His Spirit into the life He has for them.

What We Believe

What Makes Rise Up Culture Distinct

We prioritize experiencing Jesus, not just learning about Him. We focus on forming and sending people, not just gathering them. We walk people through a clear discipleship pathway. We define success by transformation and sending, not attendance. People don’t just attend here. They are known, formed, equipped, and released.

The Need We See

Many people don’t know how to:
 Experience Jesus personally
 Live in freedom
 Understand their identity in Christ
 Walk with God daily
 Lead with confidence
 Step into their calling

We exist to help people walk closely with God and grow into the life He created them to live.

The Disciples We Aim To Form

People who are:
 Free
 Grounded in identity
 Comfortable hearing and following Jesus
 Spirit-led
 Rooted in Scripture
 Willing to lead
 Willing to go
 Courageous in everyday life

The Ministry of Every Disciple

We believe the Great Commission is central to the life of every believer. Before Jesus ascended, He told His followers to go and make disciples, teaching them to obey everything He had commanded (Matthew 28:18–20). When we look at the life and teaching of Jesus, we see what He trained His disciples to do. He sent them to proclaim the Kingdom of God, heal the sick, care for the outcast, cast out demons, and raise the dead. Just as God freely gave us His Kingdom, so we should freely give it to others. (Matthew 10:7–8). We believe this call did not end with the first disciples. Through the same Spirit, Jesus continues His work through His people today.

Scripture points to this ongoing ministry:
Jesus said that those who believe in Him would continue the same works He did and even greater works (John 14:12)
The early Church carried the message and power of the Gospel into the world (Mark 16:14–20)

We believe the Church is not only called to share the message of Jesus, but to reflect Christ by ministering in His love and power. This does not come from striving or performance. It flows from relationship with Jesus.

As we walk with Jesus, we grow in:
 Loving people well
 Praying in His Spirit’s power
Christ healing and restoring people through us
Sharing the hope of the Gospel in God’s anointing
Living dependent on the Holy Spirit

Our desire is to help everyday believers grow in faith as they follow Jesus and learn to serve others in His mighty name.

Not as experts.
Not as performers.
But as people walking with God and believing in the power of Christ in us.
