Coaching vs. Counseling
Leadership Coaching (LLC)
Leadership/Calling Coaching is:
Future-focused
Goal-oriented
Leadership and identity development
Spiritually encouraging
Non-clinical
Educational and growth-oriented
Coaching helps individuals rise in their God-given identity and purpose.
Freedom Coaching (Foundation)
Freedom Coaching is a Holy Spirit–led, Biblically grounded, identity-building coaching model that helps individuals rise into emotional wholeness, spiritual confidence, and freedom in Christ.
Freedom Coaching focuses on:
Strengthening your identity in Christ
Addressing lies, patterns, and barriers through Biblical truth
Learning tools to walk in freedom and emotional resilience
Healing relational patterns through Scriptural principles
Deepening your relationship with God
Developing spiritual habits that sustain transformation
Understanding triggers and renewing the mind
Encouragement, accountability, and spiritual growth
It is empowering, discipleship-driven, and forward-focused.
Freedom Coaching is NOT:
mental health treatment
trauma therapy
diagnosis
clinical evaluation
medical or psychiatric care
Freedom Coaches are not licensed therapists. Freedom Coaching is a spiritual and personal growth journey, not a clinical one.
Counseling (Contracted Non-Exclusive Providers)
Clinical counseling is:
Conducted by licensed mental health professionals
Legally regulated
Diagnostic and treatment-focused
Often trauma-informed (e.g., EMDR)
Protected under state and professional ethics
All counseling is contracted through independent providers, including The Rise Up Counseling PLLC, on a non-exclusive basis.
Clients may work with any licensed professional they choose.
